Information Regarding Championship Points:

The Kid Kart 1 and Jr 1 - 2 Cycle Novice classes are non-competitive classes, they do not accumulate season points. These two classes are designed for young drivers who are new to karting and do not want the pressure that can come with competition kart racing. If you and your child want to race in a championship scored class then maybe the Kid Kart 2 or Jr 1 - 2 Cycle classes are better suited for your family. Additionally, for any class - if you do not have at least three karts in your class you will not accumulate championship points for that class for that day - feel free to come and race though! And finally, our scoring program does not understand that the club will assign last place points even if you don't start your main event - so this must be manually corrected. If, for some reason, your points are not reflected correctly please e-mail [webmaster@kinsmenkartclub.com] and we will get it fixed.
